Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old (definition: the age of the subject on the screening day); 2. General periodontal disease; 3. Having >= 20 natural teeth (including all the lower anterior teeth #31, #32, #33, #41, #42, #43); 4. Having a history of lingual calculus formation on the lower anterior teeth (definition: at least 1.5mm wide); 5. End-stage renal disease (stage 5 chronic kidney disease); 6. Patients who have undergone peritoneal dialysis for >= 90 days; 7. Patients with adequate dialysis adequacy (definition: KT/V >= 1.7/W for peritoneal dialysis patients)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Malignant tumor; 2.Edentulous jaw; 3.Current smokers or those who have quit smoking for less than 1 year; 4.Uncontrolled hypertension; 5.Patients with uncontrolled diabetic retinopathy or maculopathy leading to near blindness; 6.Patients who had severe hyperparathyroidism or planned parathyroid surgery during the study period; 7.Patients who are adjusting or planning to adjust peritoneal dialysis regimen in the near future; 8.Patients scheduled for kidney transplantation; 9.Patients undergoing dialysis for acute renal failure; 10.Patients with severe bleeding disease or severe coagulation disorder who cannot receive basic periodontal treatment; 11.Women who were pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study; 12.Received periodontal sequential therapy in the past 3 months; 13.Those who have received systemic broad-spectrum antibiotics for more than 1 week due to other diseases in the past 1 month; 14.Known history of drug / alcohol addiction; 15.Patients who need to change their place of residence frequently due to work or family reasons; 16.The investigator assessed patients with a poor prognosis and an expected survival of less than 6 months; 17.Patients who often use antibacterial gargle products such as chlorhexidine; 18.Patients with severe crowding, torsion or presence of dental restorations, dental implants or fixed orthodontic appliances in the lower anterior region may accelerate the accumulation of dental calculus; 19.Unable to independently complete standard tooth brushing or follow oral hygiene instructions due to physical or cognitive impairment;
