Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Community seniors aged 65 or older; 2. Able to walk independently, no walking disabilities; 3. Not taking any prescription drugs that directly affect gait or cognitive functions; 4. Meet safety standards for functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS); 5. Voluntarily participating in the study and have signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Having neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, stroke, or Alzheimer's; 2. Having severe cardiovascular diseases, recent lower limb fractures (within 6 months), a history of lower limb surgery, or other musculoskeletal/physical conditions affecting mobility; 3. Experiencing severe pain or having obvious gait issues like intermittent limping due to asymmetry; 4. Severe cognitive impairment, unable to carry out tasks like continuous subtraction; 5. Having contraindications for fNIRS testing (e.g., metal implants in the head).
