Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Gestational age >= 35 weeks; 2. All neonates who developed respiratory distress or persistent cyanosis after the 1-minute resuscitation, requiring admission to the neonatal department, in accordance with the 2025 Neonatal Resuscitation Guidelines.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Newborns with a heart rate < 100 beats per minute (bpm) between 1 minute after birth and NICU admission; 2. Parental refusal to provide informed consent; 3. Presence of congenital malformations affecting respiratory function.
