3 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Chalazion Group:(1)Patients clinically diagnosed with unilateral or bilateral chalazion; (2)Both genders are eligible; (3) Aged between 3 and 65 years. 2.Meibomian Gland Dysfunction Group:(1)Patients diagnosed with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD); (2)Both genders are eligible; (3) Aged between 3 and 65 years. 3.Healthy Control Group:(1)Individuals with normal meibomian gland function; (2)Both genders are eligible; (3) Aged between 3 and 65 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Chalazion Group:(1) Eyelid anatomical abnormalities such as entropion, trichiasis, ocular deformities or scars, lagophthalmos, epicanthus, ptosis, etc.; (2) History of previous ocular laser surgery or other ocular surgeries and ocular trauma; (3) Acute ocular inflammation; (4) Received intralesional corticosteroid injection within the past 3 months; (5) Suffering from autoimmune diseases such as thyroid diseases, rheumatic diseases, and connective tissue diseases; (6) Ocular allergic states such as allergic conjunctivitis; (7) Wearing contact lenses; (8) Chalazion complicated by infection; (9) Irregular use of medications affecting blood lipids and vitamins; (10) Diabetic patients with unstable fasting/random blood glucose; (11) Inability to cooperate with examinations; 2.Meibomian Gland Dysfunction Group:(1) Eyelid anatomical abnormalities such as entropion, trichiasis, ocular deformities or scars, lagophthalmos, epicanthus, ptosis, etc.; (2) History of previous ocular laser surgery or other ocular surgeries and ocular trauma; (3) Acute ocular inflammation; (4) Diagnosed with inflammatory lacrimal duct diseases such as acute/chronic dacryocystitis, canaliculitis, etc.; (5) Suffering from autoimmune diseases such as thyroid diseases, rheumatic diseases, and connective tissue diseases; (6) Ocular allergic states such as allergic conjunctivitis; (7) Wearing contact lenses; (8) Current diagnosis of chalazion; (9) Use of ocular medications other than artificial tears within the past 3 months; (10) Meibomian gland loss area exceeding 1/2; (11) Irregular use of medications affecting blood lipids and vitamins; (12) Diabetic patients with unstable fasting/random blood glucose; (13) Inability to cooperate with examinations; 3.Healthy Control Group:(1) Eyelid anatomical abnormalities such as entropion, trichiasis, ocular deformities or scars, lagophthalmos, epicanthus, ptosis, etc.; (2) History of previous ocular laser surgery or other ocular surgeries and ocular trauma; (3) Acute ocular inflammation; (4) Diagnosed with inflammatory lacrimal duct diseases such as acute/chronic dacryocystitis, canaliculitis, etc.; (5) Suffering from autoimmune diseases such as thyroid diseases, rheumatic diseases, and connective tissue diseases; (6) Ocular allergic states such as allergic conjunctivitis; (7) Wearing contact lenses; (8) Current diagnosis of chalazion or meibomian gland dysfunction; (9) Use of ocular medications other than artificial tears within the past 3 months; (10) Meibomian gland loss area exceeding 1/3; (11) Irregular use of medications affecting blood lipids and vitamins; (12) Diabetic patients; (13) Inability to cooperate with examinations;
