Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Identity: Full-time college students (including undergraduates, masters, and doctoral candidates). Age: 18 years or older. Core issue: Self-reported presence of some degree of social anxiety distress, with corresponding scores on the Social Phobia Inventory. Given that this study is a psychological intervention project, participants are eligible as long as they voluntarily enroll and report some level of social anxiety distress; a clinical cutoff score is not required. Informed consent: Ability to understand the study procedures and willingness to voluntarily sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe mental disorders: Currently diagnosed with, or currently in an acute episode of, severe mental disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, or psychotic disorders. High suicide risk: Assessed to have current or recent severe suicidal ideation, plans, or behavioural risk. Concurrent treatment: Currently receiving other systematic psychological treatment or psychiatric medication specifically for social anxiety. Participation barriers: Unable to commit to completing the full intervention and all questionnaires at all assessment time points.
