Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged over 18 years, with no restriction on gender. 2.Diagnosis of cirrhosis was confirmed by pathology or clinical imaging. 3.Patients underwent TIPS for refractory ascites and/or ruptured esophagogastric variceal bleeding as manifestations of decompensation. 4.Postoperative follow-up duration >= 12 months with complete clinical data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Preoperative complicated with hepatocellular carcinoma or other malignant tumors. 2.Severe hepatic encephalopathy (Grade >= III); 3.End-stage liver failure (MELD >= 30); 4.Presence of severe complications including hepatic and renal insufficiency, cardiac dysfunction, etc. 5.Missing baseline or follow-up data.
