Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age= 18 years old; 2.A systolic blood pressure = 130 mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure = 80 mmHg measured in the office without taking antihypertensive medication; or is currently receiving antihypertensive medication; 3.Participate voluntarily in the study, understand the study procedures, and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Malignant diseases or end-stage diseases (such as end-stage heart failure, renal failure, advanced malignant tumors) with an expected survival period of less than 1 year; 2.The presence of severe cognitive impairment, mental illness, or other conditions that result in the inability to cooperate with the completion of basic follow-up or questionnaires; 3.It is planned to permanently move out of the area covered by the study within the next 2 years.

Combined major cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events: nonfatal myocardial infarction, nonfatal stroke, hospitalization for heart failure, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular death.;
