Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with T2DM; 2. Age range: 18 - 70 years old; 3. Glycated hemoglobin: 7.5% - 11%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 diabetes patients; 2. Patients with liver and kidney dysfunction; 3. Those with severe complications, including cardiovascular, cerebral and peripheral vascular diseases with clinical manifestations; 4. Patients with asthma, alcoholism, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction or stroke, hyperthyroidism, patients with malignant tumors, and others with endocrine disorders, as well as those receiving hormone treatment; 5. Patients with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and AIDS; 6. Pregnant women, lactating mothers, or those who intend to get pregnant during the research process; 7. Those who have undergone gastrointestinal surgery (except for appendicitis or hernia surgery); 8. Those with severe mental disorders in the past 6 months; 9. Patients with pituitary dysfunction, receiving treatment for gallbladder inflammation, digestive tract ulcers, urinary tract infections, acute pyelonephritis, urachitis, hyperthyroidism, etc.; 10. Those with damaged or ulcerated skin on the feet.
