Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged >= 18 years; 2. Patients with a need for intravenous therapy requiring intravenous infusion of vesicants, cytotoxic drugs, or drugs with an osmotic pressure = 900 mOsm/L, or with an expected duration of intravenous therapy > 4 weeks before catheterization; 3. After selecting the type of PICC catheter according to treatment needs, the catheter diameter is confirmed. The upper extremity vein for puncture is evaluated by ultrasound, and the catheter diameter is less than 45% of the vein diameter; 4. Normal mental and behavioral status, with the ability to communicate normally; 5. Patients have given informed consent and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for group of conventional PICC insertion and X-ray positioning: 1. Pregnant woman; 2. The limb to be inserted with the catheter has previously developed venous thrombosis; 3. The limb to be inserted with the catheter has undergone vascular surgery; 4. The limb to be inserted with the catheter has received radiotherapy; 5. There is an infection related to the device; 6. The puncture site or the skin on the anterior chest is abnormal and cannot be used to adhere and fix the catheter and sensors; 7. Known or suspected allergy to the materials of the PICC catheter and accessories; 8. Atrial fibrillation, severe tachycardia; 9. Other contraindications for PICC insertion, such as superior vena cava syndrome. Exclusion criteria for group of magnetic navigation combined with IC-ECG technology for positioning during PICC insertion: 1. Pregnant woman; 2. The puncture site or the skin on the anterior chest is abnormal and cannot be used to adhere and fix the catheter and sensors; 7. Known or suspected allergy to the materials of the PICC catheter and accessories; 8. Atrial fibrillation, severe tachycardia or a pacemaker has been implanted (the normal P wave cannot be observed, and the IC-ECG technology cannot be used for positioning); 9. The upper limb, trunk, and head and neck of the patient have metal implants (which may interfere with the magnetic field and cannot use the magnetic navigation technology); 10. Other contraindications for PICC insertion, such as superior vena cava syndrome.
