Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Case group: 1. Asthmatic children aged 5 - 17 years with normal height and weight; 2. Born in China, with both parents being Chinese; 3. During the acute attack of asthma; 4. No use of nebulization or short-acting bronchodilators within 6 hours before the test, no use of medium-acting bronchodilators within 12 hours, and no use of antihistamines, long-acting bronchodilators, or leukotriene receptor antagonists within 24 hours; 5. Normal intellectual development, able to cooperate well; Control group: 1. Asthmatic children aged 5 - 17 years with normal height and weight; 2. Born in China, with both parents being Chinese; 3. Without allergic diseases such as asthma or rhinitis; 4. No history of respiratory infections or other diseases affecting the respiratory system within one month.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Wheezing not caused by asthma; 2. Having congenital heart, lung or nervous system diseases; 3. Airway malformations; 4. Moderately to severely obese or malnourished individuals; 5. Children who are too short or too tall; 6. Those with severe attacks requiring transfer to the ICU; 7. Those who have already used bronchodilators.
