Interventions

BFR+LIFT group:Low-intensity functional training at 30% estimated 1RM with bilateral proximal-thigh blood flow restriction. Cuff pressure was set at 40%-60% of estimated arterial occlusion pressure. T
HIFT group:High-intensity functional training at 70% estimated 1RM without blood flow restriction. Training was performed 3 times per week for 8 weeks, approximately 80 min per session.
LIFT group:Low-intensity functional training at 30% estimated 1RM without blood flow restriction. Training was performed 3 times per week for 8 weeks, approximately 80 min per session.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18–30 years; 2. China Badminton rating of Level 3 or above; 3. Participation in badminton at least once per week; 4. No current lower-limb injury affecting training or testing; 5. No previous experience with blood flow restriction training; 6. Voluntary participation in the study and provision of written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pulmonary or cardiovascular disease; 2.Uncontrolled hypertension; 3.History of thrombosis, varicose veins, or other conditions affecting venous return; 4.Coagulation disorders or current use of anticoagulant medication; 5.Neurological disorders; 6.Recent lower-limb surgery; 7.Current musculoskeletal injury that could affect training or testing; 8.Previous experience with blood flow restriction training.
