Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Meet the diagnostic criteria for ASD in the DSM-5; 2.aged 2 to 8 years; 3.normal vision and hearing development; 4.guardians agree to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Unable to understand or comply with the experimenter's instructions; 2.a score greater than 8 on the Self-Injurious Behavior subscale of the Repetitive Behavior Scale-Revised (RBS-R); 3.a history of neurological disorders, severe physical illnesses, or severe head trauma; 4.comorbid with other neurodevelopmental disorders, schizophrenia, mood disorders, neurotic disorders, or personality disorders; 5.and having received antipsychotic or other related medication within 14 days prior to the day of EEG data collection.
