Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age at oocyte retrieval: 20–38 years old. 2. Receiving the first cycle of IVF-ET or frozen embryo transfer (FET). 3. Quality and number of transferred embryos: One high-quality blastocyst (grade >= 4BB); or two good-quality day 3 (D3) cleavage-stage embryos (6–10 cells, fragmentation rate = 4. 4. Endometrial thickness >= 8 mm on the day of embryo transfer. 5. No history of antibiotic use within the past two months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe hydrosalpinx without surgical intervention. 2. Subjects diagnosed with severe endometriosis (according to the 1996 criteria of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, ASRM). 3. Moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions without hysteroscopic repair. 4. Congenital uterine malformations, including unicornuate uterus, rudimentary horn uterus, didelphys uterus, bicornuate uterus and septate uterus. 5. Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) < 1.1 ng/mL. 6. Subjects with contraindications to assisted reproductive technology and pregnancy, or diseases that exert definite adverse effects on pregnancy.
