Interventions

Control group:Participants will receive routine nursing care for overweight and obese adults in the department, which includes: providing comprehensive health education
promoting a balanced diet
guiding patients to engage in moderate- or low-intensity physical activity and exercise
advocating for healthy lifestyle habits
and encouraging smoking cessation, alcohol restriction, and salt reduction.
Intervention group:Participants will receive routine nursing care plus the "Precision Weight Management Program for Overweight and Obese Adults under the MRC Framework"

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet Western medical diagnostic criteria (refer to the 2024 "Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Obesity" using BMI: BMI >= 24 kg/m^2 for overweight, >= 28 kg/m^2 for obesity, or meet body-shape–based diagnostic criteria: waist circumference >=90 cm for men, >= 85 cm for women); 2. Age 18–75 years; 3. Agree to follow the protocol throughout the study, including timely meals, exercise, monitoring relevant indicators, and recording them; 4. Patient is aware of their condition and voluntarily participates; 5. Proficient in using a smartphone and able to operate the WeChat mini-program client.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with gastrointestinal diseases accompanied by malabsorption; 2. Those in an active phase of liver disease or with significant hepatic impairment, defined as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) >= 5 times the upper limit of normal; 3. Individuals with unstable or rapidly progressive kidney disease, or with renal impairment defined as serum creatinine >= 133 µmol/L (1.5 mg/dL, male) or >= 125 µmol/L (1.41 mg/dL, female); 4. Those with psychiatric disorders, unwillingness to communicate with others, or speech disorders; 5. Patients with severe cardiorespiratory failure, hypothyroidism, or malignant tumors; 6. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 7. Individuals with physical disabilities that affect aerobic or resistance exercise; 8. Patients with either of the following conditions: (1) a confirmed diagnosis of diabetes mellitus currently receiving glucose-lowering medication (oral or injectable); (2) a confirmed diagnosis of hypertension currently receiving antihypertensive medication.
