Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 65-75 years; 2. Meets the diagnosis for knee osteoarthritis, which can be judged based on clinical symptoms, signs, and existing imaging data; if there’s knee X-ray data, record the Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) grade as a baseline severity indicator; 3. Able to complete baseline assessments for symptoms, function, sarcopenia-related indicators, and obesity-related indicators, and is willing to participate in long-term follow-up; 4. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Neurological disease, severe cardiopulmonary disease, malignancy, or other severe systemic diseases that substantially affect gait, muscle function, or functional assessment. 2. Previous severe lower-limb trauma, surgery, or other disorders that may substantially influence gait or physical function. 3. Inability to complete core assessments, including WOMAC, knee pain score, handgrip strength, gait speed, timed up-and-go test, or body composition assessment. 4. Severe missing baseline data that cannot be supplemented. 5. Any other condition judged by the investigators to be unsuitable for long-term cohort participation.
