Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants of the CHARLS program and individuals who underwent health check-ups at the Diabetes Center of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital from 2012 to 2016; 2. With complete baseline data, valid BMI measurements, and complete metabolic health indicators; 3. BMI >= 24 kg/m^2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Baseline BMI < 24 kg/m^2; 2. Pregnancy, malignant tumors, etc. can affect weight or metabolism; 3. Critical variables are severely lacking: there is a shortage of data for calculating the main exposure variables (such as physical activity, education, mental state, etc.) and covariates (such as age, gender, smoking history).
