Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of CTEPH who underwent PTE at our institution between December 2016 and December 2021; 2. Patients aged 18 to 75 years, regardless of sex; 3.Patients who completed preoperative right heart catheterization (RHC) and imaging assessments, presenting with a World Health Organization (WHO) functional class of II to IV; 4. Availability of complete medical records, including comprehensive anesthesia records, cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) records, postoperative intensive care unit (ICU) records, and discharge follow-up data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Missing critical data in medical records (e.g., deep hypothermic circulatory arrest [DHCA] time, intraoperative vasoactive agent dosages, or complication records) that could not be retrieved from source documents; 2.Concomitant major cardiothoracic surgery or intraoperative conversion to thoracotomy for other surgical interventions; 3. Pregnancy or lactation; 4. Preexisting severe neurological disorders (e.g., cerebral infarction or epilepsy) that would preclude accurate postoperative neurological assessment.
