18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-65 years, gender unrestricted; 2.Obesity (BMI = 27.5 kg/m²); 3.Type 2 diabetes (fasting blood glucose = 7.0 mmol/L or 2-hour blood glucose during OGTT = 11.1 mmol/L); 4.Planned to undergo metabolic surgery and sign the informed consent form; 5.Women of childbearing age are excluded from pregnancy based on medical history and menstrual history.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Type 1 diabetes and special types of diabetes; 2.Cushing's syndrome, acromegaly, and other endocrine diseases; 3.History of recurrent pancreatitis; 4.Incomplete medical history data, unable to obtain key variables; 5.Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6.Women of childbearing age who plan to become pregnant during the research period; 7.Preoperative serum samples are missing or of poor quality.
