Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 65–74 years 2. ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) Physical Status Classification: Grade II–III 3. Scheduled for elective radical gastrectomy under general anesthesia, with an estimated operative duration of 2–4 hours 4. Provided informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Concurrent dementia (MMSE score < 24), Parkinson's disease, or severe depression. 2. History of intracranial surgery or stroke within the past 6 months. 3. Severe hearing/visual impairment that precludes completion of neuropsychological testing. 4. Allergy or contraindication to gastrodin or dexmedetomidine.
