Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 65 years, regardless of gender; 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification II to III; 3.Scheduled for non-cardiac elective surgery under general anesthesia;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Severe cranial diseases such as extensive cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, etc; 2.Pre-existing significant neurocognitive impairment; 3.Substance dependence or long-term psychotropic medication use; 4.Communication barriers? including subjects with visual/hearing impairment, aphasia, non-mandarin speakers, or other conditions impeding reliable communication; 5.End-stage renal disease requiring dialysis or hepatic impairment with Child-Pugh scores exceeding 5 points; 6.Unplanned ICU admission postoperatively or unexpected reoperation during hospitalization; 7.Patients or their legal representatives refused to provide informed consent.
