Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Must be 18 years or older. 2. The main discharge diagnosis must match the ICD-10 code range, including: shingles, trigeminal neuralgia, migraine, lumbar disc herniation, rheumatoid arthritis, knee osteoarthritis, hemorrhoids, and mastitis pain. 3. Inpatients who received treatment at our hospital between January 2019 and December 2025. 4. Complete hospital record data, such as detailed hospitalization expenses, types of medications, and key demographic and clinical variables.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Primary discharge diagnosis was not a target disease of this study, or the presence of severe acute infections, terminal malignancies, multiple organ failure, or other severe conditions that significantly confound cost analyses. 2.Length of stay (LOS) 60 days. 3.Missing key variables: absence of total hospitalization costs or medication costs, or incomplete clinical data (e.g., inability to identify the primary diagnosis).
