Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years old; 2.Patients diagnosed as MAFLD and metabolic syndrome who completed physical examination and hospitalization in our hospital from 2023 to 2026; 3.It has complete records of core biochemical tests (fasting blood glucose, four blood lipids, complete liver function, renal function and serum uric acid) and examinations (ultrasound, elastography and radiological imaging); 4.It has complete anthropometric records (height, weight, blood pressure).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Known history of liver cirrhosis, liver cancer or other end-stage liver diseases; 2. Known current infection or carrying status of viral hepatitis (hepatitis B and hepatitis C) (based on medical records or serological markers); 3. History of excessive drinking (male > 30 g/day, female > 20 g/day) or alcohol use disorder; 4. Known autoimmune liver disease, drug-induced liver injury, cholestatic liver disease; 5. Severe renal insufficiency (eGFR < 30 mL/min/1.73 m^2) or undergoing renal replacement therapy; 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. Have a history of acute infection, operation or trauma in the last 3 months. 8. Any missing core research variables (UAP, UHR, LSM, HDLC, TG, BMI, SBP, DBP, FPG); 9. Data has obvious logical errors or extreme outliers (as determined by clinical researchers).
