Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 18 years, undergoing elective inpatient or outpatient surgery; 2. No prior diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), but meeting at least two clinical features of OSA during preoperative anesthesia evaluation (e.g., snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, witnessed apnea, oropharyngeal narrowing, etc.); 3. Body mass index (BMI) = 28 kg/m² (diagnostic criteria for obesity); 4. Signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of OSA who are on long-term CPAP therapy; 2. Patients undergoing emergency surgery; 3. Patients with less than 4 hours of recorded nocturnal oximetry data.
