18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-45 years. 2. Radiographic evidence showing bilateral mandibular third molars with mesioangular or horizontal impaction. 3. The distal bone height of the second molar is at the middle third or apical third of the root. 4. The distal aspect of the mandibular second molar is free of caries, periapical or periodontal pathology, and has no coronal restorations. 5. The third molar has no acute pericoronitis. 6. Good overall periodontal health status.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of any systemic disease. 2. Allergy to any medication or bone graft material used in the surgery. 3. Alcohol abuse or heavy smoking (>10 cigarettes/day). 4. History of head and neck radiotherapy. 5. Severe temporomandibular joint disorders. 6. Absence of the second molar or its extraction along with the third molar. 7. Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment during the study period. 8. Female patients during menstruation or pregnancy. 9. Presence of a cyst, cystic change, or acute inflammation associated with the third molar. 10. Inability to cooperate with follow-up or participation in another clinical study within the past six months.
