Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. With first-ever stroke-related hemiplegia confirmed by cranial CT or MRI; 2. Aged 18-80 years; 3. Within 2 weeks to 6 months after onset; 4. Brunnstrom stage >= IV for the affected lower limb; 5. Impaired motor and balance function of the affected lower limb (FMA-LE: 21–33; BBS: 21–55); 6. Holden Walking Functional Classification grade III-IV; 7. Stable condition; 8. Provision of written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. With cerebellar stroke; 2. Severe cognitive impairment and unable to cooperate with examinations and treatment; 3. Previously diagnosed with other neurological disorders affecting walking ability; 4. Severe respiratory or cardiovascular comorbidities; 5. Severe lower-limb arthritis or other severe musculoskeletal disorders affecting walking ability; 6. Visual impairment affecting walking ability; 7. History of epilepsy; 8. Intracranial metallic implants, cardiac pacemakers, or cochlear implants; 9. Skull defects; 10. Increased intracranial pressure; 11. Intracranial tumor; 12. Pregnancy.
