Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients meeting the sepsis criteria of the 2016 International Sepsis Definition Conference from the start of the project, undergoing chest CT scan within 48 hours before and after sepsis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.ICU admission within the previous 6 months; 2.Pre-existing neuromuscular disorders that may cause neuromuscular weakness and affect muscle-related quantitative assessment, such as Guillain–Barré syndrome and paraneoplastic neuropathy. 3.a history of major thoracic surgery; 4.CT images of insufficient quality for analysis;
