Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy young participants:Aged 18-40 years, without gastrointestinal diseases and with no history of medications affecting gastric motility; 2.Healthy elderly participants:Aged 65-80 years, without gastrointestinal diseases or other conditions affecting gastric motility; 3.Elderly patients with gastroparesis:Aged 65-80 years, presenting with typical symptoms of gastroparesis, with a Gastroparesis Cardinal Symptom Index (GCSI) score >2, delayed gastric emptying confirmed by radiopaque marker (ROMs) testing, and no evidence of mechanical intestinal obstruction on clinical examination.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with gastric cancer or other gastrointestinal malignancies; 2.Patients with a history of gastric surgery, including subtotal gastrectomy or vagotomy 3.Patients with severe cardiac, hepatic, or renal insufficiency; 4.Patients presenting with acute gastrointestinal symptoms; 5. Patients with severe psychiatric or cognitive disorders who are unable to cooperate with the examinations; 6.Patients with a known allergy to the ultrasound contrast agent.
