Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Quasi-experimental research: 1. Age >= 65 years; 2. Living in a care institution for more than 3 months; 3. In the past 3 months, the average total sedentary time when awake exceeded 6 hours/day and there was insufficient physical activity: the average weekly moderate-to-vigorous physical activity time was less than 150 minutes; 4. Able to walk 100 metres without assistance; 5. Communication and comprehension abilities are normal; 6. Voluntarily participate in this study. Cross-sectional study: 1. Age >= 65 years; 2. Length of residence in a nursing facility > 3 months; 3. No musculoskeletal diseases and no conditions that are unsuitable for long-term exercise; 4. Normal communication and comprehension abilities; 5. Informed consent and voluntary participation in the survey.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Quasi-experimental research: 1. People with serious physical illnesses or who are bedridden for a long time; 2. Individuals with severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases who need to limit physical activity; 3. Those with myasthenia gravis, skeletal diseases, or deformities that limit physical activity; 4. Individuals with severe cognitive impairments or mental disorders; 5. History of mental illness; 6. History of central nervous system dysfunction; Cross-sectional study: 1. Long-term bedridden individuals who cannot care for themselves; 2. Those with mental illness, consciousness disorders, or severe cognitive impairment who cannot cooperate with the survey; 3. Those with severe hearing or speech impairments who cannot cooperate; 4. Those who refuse to participate in interviews or unexpectedly withdraw halfway.
