Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. ASA classification I-II; 3. Elective oral and maxillofacial surgery; 4. General anesthesia with nasotracheal intubation; 5. Patient informed consent, voluntary participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Prior to surgery, there was already chronic sore throat, throat diseases (such as acute and chronic pharyngitis, vocal cord polyps), or a recent (within 2 weeks) history of upper respiratory tract infection; 2.Expected to be a difficult airway and require awake intubation; 3.The surgical site involves the throat; 4.Postoperative tracheostomy, postoperative catheterization, or ICU admission; 5.Severe cognitive impairment or mental illness, unable to cooperate with scale assessment;
