65 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age =65 years; 2. Underwent surgical treatment for a non-pathological unilateral hip fracture; 3. At least one postoperative troponin measurement during hospitalization; 4. The entire episode of care occurred within the specified study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Concomitant fractures at other anatomical sites; 2. Pathological fracture; 3. Discharged after receiving conservative (nonoperative) treatment; 4. Missing anesthesia records precluding determination of the anesthetic technique; 5. Postoperative hospital stay of less than 24 hours or unavailable postoperative troponin measurements; 6. Perioperative sepsis.
