Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=18 years old; 2. Elective thoracoscopic and laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia; 3. Tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation were planned during the operation; 4. Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Emergency surgery; 2.Patients with a clearly diagnosed neurological or psychiatric disorder before surgery that severely affects cognition and communication; 3.Patients with severe language, hearing, or vision impairment before surgery who cannot complete delirium assessment; 4.Patients planned to be transferred to the ICU after surgery and expected to require continuous sedation for more than 24 hours; 5.Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
