Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes meeting the 2023 ADA diagnostic criteria; 2. Age >= 65 years old; 3. Clear consciousness and able to cooperate with the questionnaire survey; 4. No severe liver or kidney dysfunction; 5. No severe diabetic complications (such as ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic syndrome, end-stage renal disease, grade 3 or above diabetic foot, severe neuropathy, etc.)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Received systematic nutritional intervention within 3 months prior to enrollment; 2. Used drugs that affect glucose metabolism (such as glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants); 3. Had language communication disorders; 4. Had an acute infection within 1 month prior to enrollment (body temperature >= 38.5? and lasting for >= 3 days).
