18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18–65 years; 2. BMI >= 30 kg/m^2; 3. ASA physical status I–III; 4. Undergoing elective non-cardiothoracic, non-cranial surgery under general anesthesia, with extubation and transfer to the PACU after surgery; 5. Written informed consent obtained from the patient or legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative hypoxemia (SpO2 < 92% on room air); 2. Spinal deformity or instability, recent rib fracture, or other contraindications to lateral positioning; 3. Severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, intracranial hypertension; 4. Requirement for retained tracheal tube or transfer to ICU postoperatively; 5. Pregnancy or lactation.
