Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 18–79 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status II or III, with a confirmed diagnosis of colorectal cancer, and having provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: history of dementia or psychiatric disorders, central nervous system diseases; severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal dysfunction; uncontrolled hypertension or markedly elevated intraocular pressure; sinus bradycardia or high-degree atrioventricular block; pregnancy or lactation; known allergy to the study anesthetic agents; and history of drug abuse.
