Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the Western medicine diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation. Western medicine diagnostic criteria: (1) Radiating pain in the lower limbs, with the pain location corresponding to the area supplied by the affected nerve; (2) Abnormal sensation in the lower limbs, with decreased superficial sensation in the skin area supplied by the affected nerve; (3) Positive straight leg raise test, straight leg raise enhancement test, straight leg raise test on the healthy side, or femoral nerve stretch test; (4) Tendon reflexes weaker than on the healthy side; (5) Decreased muscle strength; (6) Lumbar MRI or CT showing disc herniation, and nerve compression corresponding to the symptoms and signs of the affected nerve. If 3 of the first 5 criteria are met combined with the 6th criterion, a diagnosis of lumbar disc herniation can be made. 2. Age 18-70 years, including patients aged 18 and 70 3. VAS score >= 3 points 4. Able to adhere to the planned treatment, sign the informed consent form, and cooperate with this experimental study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis, fractures, severe osteoporosis, spinal tuberculosis, tumors, and other spinal diseases 2. Having absolute surgical indications 3. Severe cardiopulmonary diseases: systolic blood pressure >180mmHg or diastolic blood pressure >110mmHg; unstable angina, severe ventricular or atrial arrhythmias, recent myocardial infarction, poorly controlled severe hypertension 4. Contraindications for shockwave therapy: malignant tumors, pregnant women in the lumbar-sacral area, deep vein thrombosis, arteriosclerosis, cardiac pacemakers or implanted electronic devices, children with unclosed epiphyses, acute wounds 5. Pregnant women
