Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=60 years old; 2. Patients scheduled for elective non-cardiac major surgery under general anesthesia; 3. The estimated operation duration is no less than 2 hours. 4. Agree to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.There are neuropsychiatric diseases that may affect electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring before the operation, such as epilepsy, schizophrenia, etc. 2. Those who are dependent on drug abuse or sedative and analgesic drugs; 3. Those who have delirium before the operation; 4. Those who are unable to communicate due to severe dementia (diagnosed) or T-MoCA score <=18 points before the operation, language disorders or end-stage diseases; 5. Patients who are expected to have their tracheal tubes removed immediately after the operation; 6. Patients who do not use anesthesia depth monitors during the operation.
