Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Clinically confirmed diagnosis of axillary hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) (Hurley stage II/III); 2.Undergoing bilateral extensive axillary excision (with resection extending to the deep fascial layer); 3.Postoperative skin defects repaired with flaps (any type of flap, e.g., local rotation flap, V-Y advancement flap, etc.); 4.Availability of complete preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative follow-up records for at least 6 months (follow-up completed; study only retrospectively extracts relevant data); 5.Complete baseline data in the database, including age, sex, body mass index (BMI), smoking history, diabetes history, Hurley stage, resection area, etc.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Postoperative defects managed by secondary intention healing, skin grafting, or other non-flap repair methods; 2.Patients who did not undergo extensive excisional surgery; 3.Loss to follow-up or incomplete follow-up data (follow-up duration less than 6 months post-surgery, or missing key follow-up information); 4.Long-term use of glucocorticoids or immunosuppressive agents; 5.Presence of other serious diseases that may affect wound healing (e.g., severe immunodeficiency, active malignancy, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, severe malnutrition, etc.).
