Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. Undergoing elective surgery for gastrointestinal malignant tumors in this hospital; 3. Both preoperative and postoperative tests for myocardial injury-related indicators (including hs-cTn) were conducted; 4. Patients with ASA grade I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Including other malignant tumors except for gastrointestinal malignancies, or those with distant metastasis; 2. Preoperative presence of myocardial injury, acute coronary syndrome or previous cardiac surgery, stent implantation, or coronary artery bypass grafting; 3. Lack of key cardiac-related examination data (such as hs-cTn, electrocardiogram or echocardiogram) before the operation; 4. Death within 24 hours after the operation due to non-cardiac causes; 5. Emergency surgery, non-gastrointestinal tumor surgery or conversion to unplanned procedures during the operation; 6. Patients with severely incomplete clinical data.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of MINS within 72 hours postoperatively;Discrimination of the predictive model (AUC value);Calibration of the predictive model (Calibration curve);

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of major complications within 30 days postoperatively;Unplanned ICU admission rate;Postoperative length of hospital stay;30-day all-cause mortality rate;Clinical net benefit of the model (DCA curve);
