Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age=18 years; 2.Patients undergoing thoracic surgery under general anesthesia; 3.American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status class II–IV; 4.Postoperative admission to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) for recovery; 5.Complete perioperative core clinical data, including medical history, anesthesia records, and PACU records;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Preoperative disturbance of consciousness that precludes postoperative assessment of emergence or recovery status; 2.Severe preoperative psychiatric or neuropsychiatric disorders; 3.Severe intraoperative complications, such as cardiac arrest; 4.Planned or unplanned postoperative transfer to the intensive care unit (ICU); 5.Substantial missingness of key study variables;
