Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=65 years; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification II~III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Long-term use of opioids, sedatives, antidepressants, or anti-anxiety drugs before surgery; 2. Inability to communicate normally before surgery; 3. Preoperative Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score less than 26; 4. Received anesthesia or surgery within the past 30 days; severe heart failure; 5. Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; 6. Patients with concomitant infectious diseases or abnormal preoperative inflammatory markers; 7. Patients with significant liver and kidney dysfunction.
