18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Imaging diagnosis of fatty liver; 2. BMI >= 24 kg/m^2, or waist circumference >= 90 cm (male) and 85 cm (female), or excessive body fat content and body fat percentage; 3. Fasting blood glucose >= 6.1 mmol/L, or 2-hour post-load blood glucose >= 7.8 mmol/L or HbA1c >= 5.7%, or history of type 2 diabetes, or insulin resistance index >= 2.5; 4. Fasting serum triglycerides >= 1.7 mmol/L, or currently receiving lipid-lowering therapy; 5. Serum high-density lipoprotein = 130/85 mmHg, or currently receiving antihypertensive treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Excessive alcohol consumption: Weekly ethanol intake >= 210 g for males or >=140 g for females; 2.Other causes that may lead to fatty liver disease: viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, drug-induced liver injury, Wilson's disease, etc; 3.Concurrent systemic diseases: total parenteral nutrition, celiac disease, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, acromegaly, anterior pituitary hypofunction, hypogonadism, etc; 4.History of using medications that affect insulin secretion or insulin sensitivity; 5.History of COVID-19 infection or prior confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19; 6.Subjects who are unable to cooperate with the study or have not provided signed informed consent;
