Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 6 months and 3 years, with no gender restriction. 2. First episode of wheezing requiring hospitalization. 3. Admission within 72 hours after the onset of wheezing. 4. Written informed consent provided by the legal guardian.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 A documented history of asthma or two or more prior episodes of wheezing. 2 Presence of underlying diseases such as congenital heart disease, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), immunodeficiency, or inherited metabolic disorders. 3 Use of systemic glucocorticoids or immunomodulators within two weeks prior to admission. 4 Inability to complete fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) testing or poor cooperation with pulmonary function testing. 5 Legal guardian refuses to participate in the study or is unable to comply with follow-up requirements
