Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18 to 75 years; 2.Confirmed diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome (including unstable angina, non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction) according to current guidelines, with symptom onset within 24 hours; 3.Comorbid type 2 diabetes mellitus, diagnosed according to the American Diabetes Association or Chinese Diabetes Society criteria, or with a documented history of diabetes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Use of antibiotics, immunosuppressants, or systemic corticosteroids within the past 3 months; 2.History of active periodontal treatment (e.g., scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery) within the past 6 months; 3.Severe hepatic or renal dysfunction (alanine aminotransferase >3 times the upper limit of normal, or severe renal failure), malignancy, or autoimmune disease; 4.Presence of acute oral infection other than periodontitis; 5.Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6.Psychiatric disorders, cognitive impairment, or any condition that in the investigator's judgment would make the patient unable to cooperate with the study or complete the 1-year follow-up.
