Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age greater than 18 years old; 2. Diagnosed with sepsis (according to ICD codes); 3. At least one lactate test result within 24 hours of hospital admission, with lactate >= 2.0 mmol/L

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ICU hospitalization time is less than 24 hours; 2. Age is less than 18 years old; 3. Triglyceride and fasting blood glucose data are missing; 4. For patients with multiple ICU admissions, only the examination results from the first ICU admission are selected;
