Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=18 years; 2. Patients meeting the diagnostic criteria for coronary artery disease (CAD) or cardiac valve disease [Ge Junbo], who are undergoing elective open-heart surgery for the first time: coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), cardiac valve surgery (mitral valve replacement, aortic valve replacement, double-valve replacement, Bentall procedure, tricuspid valve replacement, mitral valve repair, tricuspid valve repair), or CABG combined with any of the aforementioned valve surgeries; 3. Normal cognitive function and ability to communicate effectively; 4. Informed consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with somatic dysfunction; 2. Severe hepatic dysfunction, renal insufficiency (with long-term renal replacement therapy prior to surgery), gastrointestinal surgery or dysfunction, uncontrolled hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism; 3. Patients with malignant tumors; 4. Patients with failure of organs other than the heart.
