Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Retrospective Database Construction (Study 1); 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Meet the above DCM diagnostic criteria; 3. Visited any participating center between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2025, with extractable clinical/imaging data available. 2.Prospective Clinical Validation (Study 2); 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Clinically and radiologically confirmed diagnosis of DCM; 3. Able to understand and sign the study-specific informed consent for this research; 4. Able to complete at least 6 months of follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Retrospective Database Construction (Study One); 1. Non-degenerative spinal cord lesions such as trauma, tumors, infection, inflammation, or congenital malformations; 2. History of previous cervical spine surgery; 3. Severe cognitive impairment/mental illness preventing completion of assessments; 4. Key variables missing and still unusable after multiple imputation (determined according to preset quality control rules); 2.Prospective Clinical Validation (Study Two); 1. Cervical spinal cord compression caused by non-degenerative factors such as trauma, tumors, infection, or congenital malformations; 2. History of previous cervical spine surgery; 3. Presence of severe systemic diseases or expected survival less than 2 years; 4. Poor compliance, unable to cooperate with follow-up.
