Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged over 18 years, either gender; 2. Severe atrophy of the alveolar process with bone volume insufficient for simultaneous implant placement, requiring bone augmentation surgery; 3. Willing to cooperate with imaging and histological examinations; 4. Stable systemic health status and able to tolerate implant surgery; 5. Good oral hygiene and able to cooperate with postoperative oral care and follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Recent myocardial infarction (within 1 year); 2. Recent prosthetic valve surgery (within 1 year); 3. Severe renal insufficiency; 4. Uncontrolled endocrine disorders; 5. History of bisphosphonate or denosumab use; 6. Patients who have recently undergone radiotherapy or chemotherapy; 7. Drug or alcohol abuse; 8. Patients requiring regular steroid use; 9. Other conditions: psychiatric disorders, hematologic diseases (e.g., leukemia, hemophilia, coagulation disorders, etc.), cachexia, etc.
