Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. are aged 60 years or older. 2. have a cardiologist-confirmed diagnosis of heart failure. 3. have NYHA Class II-III symptoms. 4. presence of mild cognitive impairment: 1) subjective memory complaints, and 2) objective cognitive decline, defined as a score of 18 to 25 on the Beijing version Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). 5. could walk without mobility aids. 6. can speak and comprehend Chinese.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. have a history of exercise-induced syncope or malignant ventricular arrhythmias. 2. confirmed diagnosis of dementia or delirium. 3. have neurological conditions that severely affect gait or mobility (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, hemiparesis, and Huntington’s Disease). 4. are concurrently participating in or having completed structured cardiac rehabilitation within the past 6 months.
