Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or above; 2.Benign or malignant thyroid lesions confirmed by preoperative ultrasound, fine-needle aspiration cytology or intraoperative rapid pathology, and eligible for endoscopic thyroidectomy via bilateral areola approach; 3. The size of tumors or nodules meets the indications of areola approach surgery in this center; 4. No obvious vocal cord movement abnormalities detected by preoperative laryngoscopy; 5. No significant surgical contraindications and tolerance to general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous neck surgery or neck radiotherapy; 2. Significant extrathyroidal invasion involving vital structures such as trachea, esophagus and recurrent laryngeal nerve; 3. Patients with confirmed lateral cervical lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis; 4. Patients with uncontrolled severe thyroid dysfunction; 5. Patients converted to open surgery during operation; Patients with incomplete clinical data or lost to follow-up; 6. Other conditions deemed ineligible for enrollment by researchers.
