Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients were diagnosed with bilateral vocal cord paralysis with no potential for neurological recovery. 2. All patients underwent preoperative evaluations including laryngoscopy, head MRI, neck-chest CT, and barium esophagography or esophagoscopy to rule out space-occupying lesions. 3. Patients with dyspnea due to cardiopulmonary diseases were excluded. All included patients had a dyspnea grade of I or higher. 4. All patients underwent low-temperature plasma-assisted posterior glottis expansion surgery.
